He is injured, a pity or tears??

Liu Xiang Out....
When i heard that the chinese born hero and sport athlete got injured at the games, i thought ooh its part of the job, part of the harzards that comes with the job, it is natural, all athletes are prone to injuries, and if you are wise enough you would know that there is nothing as such as
superman that can do the extraordinary, the impossible, human beings have a limit.
While i have my pity for him, for losing out, i cannot but lookout for other activities of the games
.
However the trends and the reaction of the chinese people to this injury makes me ponder and have a look that causes ripples in my heart. On the TV the newscaster virtually shed tears while reporting this particular part of the news, later in the day i was fortunate to meet some of my students and they also had a stream of tears to flow for their hero, i couldnt but ask them why they where crying, sheding their tears and they all have something to say, we care so much about him, we love him, we chinese are one and we are
kindhearted people.
I cant argue this stance sincerely but my views which i have deliberated is that while on a daily basis, i seen people involved in accidents, yet no tears are shed, no help rendered, only the fact that everybody is looking and talking on the phone, i have seen near death tragedies, and yet nothing is done until JING CHA, the police come to the rescue, i cant clearly see this link, if they really are so sympathetic for LIU why cant you be also for the common man.
Must i be a hero to deserve some form of sympathy??
Karl Max
said obviously that we live in a class society, so can i deduce that chinese tears have class!!!!
;DTears for heros, non for the common man...
i hope that this glaring population would remember that in time of need, the first person at your aid would be your neighbour, who i hope you have failed to help when he was helpless....
Tears, compassion have no class, help is for all, a world of peace and true sympathy when desired is needed.

well as it is a fact the common chinese people are often quite weaker mentally on observation i have noticed too much of this role as i am an american i can not agree to certain factors as a society where crime if few and pity is so great in number i have realized that they do this because 1 person does it they react so fast as to many others i have noticed and some are friends they often follow as to the fall outs or the lesser few as being chinese who wouldnt or never show any tears
Monkey see Monkey Do!
one person cries they all Cry the same when 911 happend in america
then in olympics happens an american trash talks then gets their butts kicked or even kicked out of the olympics
by the way i heard that some are using steroids in the olympics how is this possible? when the chinese authority are quick and testy each and every week! to make sure no one cheats
i allso read on other blogs most are from the uk some from the usa and other parts saying chinese are too young or cheating or faking fireworks

Up, round - left to right fake fireworks first..... foremost - is it? well I low A-Team..... then for Posterity! Sound of one tree once in the forest to whimsically cut through the marvelous marble-ular uranla, uranus ice!
Once I was dog bounding up my leg, so I said "One in the oven is worth two" and the african tree giant said;
Start with something simple.

I agree with this point of yours that a man generally gets but one chance to be an Olympic medalist and its good to know that you have the guts to air your opinions as well!!
Only someone with a narrow and shallow mind would try to draw a reference to the earthquake saga and sports injury of noble men, while one is inevitable and caused by nature, thus the victims are pitiable, the other is aware of the consequences before embarking on it, i guess you lack the knowledge of job hazards!!
I live in an environment of freedom, liberty and equality, you however i guess have been intimidated by a few given the opportunity to do what you can never do in your widest dreams.
Expression of speech is a sole right of mine and until i go 6 feet down it cannot be withdrawn under any circumstances. The situation herein where you find yourself is not self inflicted, but you chose this explicitly when you boarded a flight to china.
If you are holding the view of trying to kiss my ass goodbye, you are mistaken, i am one of those privilege people that have a home and a country to lookout to, i have a family to return to, a job that i can call my own, so if china is your heaven so be it, i leave whenever i feel the wall trying to encroach on me...
The inherent different in homo-sapien is that each one has different views and thoughts, if yours is suppressed, kudos to you. So sad that your thoughts are suppressed.
Funny enough i see a well structured English lacking the common flaws of free flow, i see an English that lacks expression, the sites is meant for ex pats and by no standards with my qualification and wide experience am fortunate to be one. Less i say am not one of those back packers like you, opportunists that seek a land to be self glorified, i was invited to come and Teach in China!!
Carl Marx was not referring to modern day socialist China but to the power of the aristocracy, bureaucracy and capitalistic domination of the masses in demographically situated western Europe.
I don't think you can take a Marxist statement to draw an analogy in this case scenario. You are not talking about social caste order with Mr. Liu Shang but social order of the highest sentiment due to the national perception of international achievement at the highest level – former world record holder.
If you are well groomed in understanding marxism, you can make inference to justify your point, only a fool and a shallow mind like your would try to say in plain terms that Karl max classless society cannot be used in other terms to express a plain idea. How can you in your highest sense try to say max did not speak about china, shit....obviously not, but he spoke of societies and i presume you need an Oxford to interpret that!!
Your ass belongs to china, quite sad, your life belongs here!! too bad, quite sorry it took me ages to reply you, was traveling around.. still I am, but when am back to china then issues would be resolved around a round table
