One thing to keep in mind when designing a map is that the scale of the map does not change as the page scrolls. On some sites, when the page scrolls down to the map, it stops, and instead with each turn of the mouse wheel increases the scale of the map. Under no circumstances should this be allowed, as it is extremely detrimental to the user experience with the site, it is very uncomfortable and irritating to users - the percentage of bounce from such a page will be very high. To prevent this from happening, you need to disable scrolling in the map code.  It will be easier to deal with this with the help of map maker

It is important to create a user-friendly map for users, and I have repeatedly met horribly made maps that do not bring any usefulness. It's frustrating.
