2 days ago, I went to Sanya Natural Fishing Village with my visitors from Shanghai. It is a really very nature village. Villagers live on the boat on seawater from generation to generation. The local government intends to support them live on land, and wants to build house for them but they refuse. They build their home on floating boat and raise fish. Only have 4 restaurants on the floating boat and a police station but no school. Children go to school on land. This village is near Monkey Islet. We see the cable car above the village. After visiting the village, we choose a local restaurant in the floating boat to have lunch. All they offer is seafood and vegetables. They raise seafood like shrimp, tunny, and snail and so on. We book shrimp, tunny, snail and 3 vegetable dishes.
I was very excited when I saw the village by boat though I have been there once many years ago.
