@ zang2er: then find for us jazz in hefei! of course jazz & blues in shanghai are great, i usualyl go to the house of blue and jazz and a couple more bars there.. but in hefei??? 
black guy as a teacher! i'm sure he had a lot to share!

anyway, i do love rock and punk and the scene in hefei for live music is tiny so anything that the city offer us is great..

@ Tim: the friend that told me about the concert added there is going to be a "music bus" as well.. i'll post info as soon as i get them!

@: andy      i dont go to club and bar , so i dont know about the night life in hefei . i am a couch potato , i perfer stay in my couch and listen to jonna wang  and norah jones

live music is the best, and after your comment about Shanghai jazz scene.. thought you enjoyed some of that as well!
as i said, when i go there (quite often) i always hang out in places with live bands, getting a little bit of everything, from beloved blues (more than jazz) to japanese punk!
 

so.. you DO have an apartment! or maybe just a couch?

@ andy    i do hang out with friends , when i was i shanghai , we go to zapatas , mural?  M2  richy. and we pass each one , and dancing and shouting , my friend even take off their pants, only underwear left .we go to the roof of  a building  and shouting . and we go home in the morning around 6 am . i was really fun ..  but in hefei . there's nothing fun , and i seriously have to get up at 7 am to go to work . so i dont have time to have night life .

I went to it last year. I'll go again.

I am going there too! Many Taiwanese singers and bands. I am a big fan! So I have to skip the Green Drinks meeting on sat. afternoon.

DO NOT BUY TICKET IN ADVANCE!!

ticket are sold on the way to the entrance, 50 to 60 yuan!!

any other price, ditch them! many ppl there selling..

all the people that will comment under and say: yeah, of course, no need to say, blablabla, go and **** yourself!!
always better to advise less expert folks around!

last night by the way a very good evening..
time to google some of these bands!!

no no, it's not official selling: if you buy from the official office there in place, the tickets are more expensive than the internet ones!!

buy from the people selling "free" tickets, probably resident or park workers receiving lots of free tickets and then selling for 50-60 rmb!

Yes the cheapest tickets sold outside the venue could be only 20 yuan! 1/5 of the original price.
