Despite peoples perspectives and opinions baout Africans and Phillipinos, i hold them in high respect, this is basically becuase of the few interactions i have had with some of them, while we all know that countries all over the world is saddled with problems Africans are not exempted, while we know that discrimination is written all over the world, these Africans and Phillipinos are not exempted, nevertheless i see a drive an spirit in these ones pushing them to the extremes to succeed at whatever cost.....

On ocassions i have met with some of them and chat with them, i find some of them to be very scholarly and well educated..

This article stated above makes references to only Africans and Phillipinos...why?? ??? :'( :o ???

Its obvious that it is a machinery set aside to exploit and use in an inhumane way and manner these group of people, my advise is that no matter what you guys do, whatever your stance and position, hardwork and perserverance would lead you to your desired heights..

Volunteer Teaching Jobs should be open to all tribes and ethinic nationalities and not restricted and clamoured for a few, while there are some that have restrictions and quotas for choosing, it is all a matter of choice....

Your services are needed and you must be convinced that if you are willing to offer your services do not offer them to rip-offss..Your services are needed and you must be convinced that if you are willing to offer your services do not offer them to rip-offss..

[Hey yo,

To the best of my knowledge, every job is categorize with respect to it's relevant requisites, these requirements might differ with race, education, experience, age ,sex and even appearance. So I choose to differ with you on the issue that volunteer jobs are and should be open to all:

It all depends on how worthy you are to the job; So the key is that never look desperate for a job, be you African, Filipinos, white or other: We all know that desperateness lead to desperate actions and desperate action is one path to self destruction .I for one wouldn’t take on any volunteer job be it at the WHITE HOUSE

Let's not give up the pride and dignity of our African origin.................make the fuckers charm for you :) :) :)

Money is not everything to me, and i believe at one time or the other we should offer our services to those people that really need them. :'(

I personally have offered some lectures and classes all for free, just because i felt it was the right thing to do at the country side where i could see that they could not afford me at any cost.

So if you want to volunteeer just do so but be sure that you are doing the right thing :o

Hey Junior.........

Got some for you, if u don't mind
-Honestly, was your volunteer undertaking totally selfless or was it complemented by hidden egoistic motives?
-How was your pocket at the time, broke or handsome?
-What other options did you have................better ones?

Volunteering is an abstract and ambiguous concept

For me, my volunteering in Canada started when I was 11.  I just saw something on TV, for the local food bank, and decided to help out.  My mother drove me there, did the work, then left.  Not all people have alterior motives.  Some just want to help out.

Well i guess we have different people, i have no money issues well if you dont know and i have enough jobs on my hands to make a living,

so the issue of my pocket is out of the issue.... ;)

i have enough options and even most time have turned them down, work when i desire and sometimes find time to enjoy my money,

i totally disagree with you that volunteering is an ambigous concept, it is limited and well defined, it all depends on the actor involved and the issue arising,

however i would not think you are qualified for my valuable services, you dont need it, moreso i strongly percieve you fall into the categories of people willing to capitalise of the goodwill of others, i know your type....  ::) ::) :o

If you think money is everything then you are so wrong.....
