Osama bin Laden rumoured to be deceased

Apparently the US is adamant that they have killed Osama bin Laden, even stating that "they have the body" to prove it. (Now, didn't Saddam Hussein have body doubles himself?)
I personally don't believe they have the "real" Osama, but that's just me. If I'm wrong (which I may be), it only took them 10 years to hunt him down.
What are your thoughts/opinions?

I saw in a magazine somewhere, that you shouldn't believe everything you read.
Has AQ acknowledged it yet?

No, Al Qaida hasn't said a peep yet. Maybe they are in the regrouping phase.
I too want to see the body, or have someone REALLY identify it.

With the US$ down so low, it's inevitable that the USGovt will endeavour to do something to turn it...
Could this be something? Trying to boost confidence in seeing an end to the conflicts?

I'm sceptical as to whether its the "real" Osama, and until inconclusively proven (beyond any shadow of a doubt), I may accept a body double/clone/look-alike was the real victim.

I just think it's very convenient that this happened now, pretty much at the height of people's anger towards the war in Afghanistan.
Things that make you go hmmmmmm.
**Edit** To add, I just read his body was buried at sea. Now, we are talking about the most sought after guy in the world, and not a tasty taste from the US Government of a pic, or anything. The article mentioned that he was identified via facial scanner, and that's about it. Also, they didn't answer clearly what kind of DNA tests for done. I am not a knowledgeable guy about Islamic traditions, but the least they could have done is snap a pic of the guy, so we can debate or not if it's real.
This surely will spur conspiracy theories from other, no doubt. Why leave it to chance? Snap a pic.

One might consider this to have been one of the greatest PR exercises in the new millenium; the killing of Bin Laden that is; in that Obama has found new approval ratings, the US admin looks more credible, the War on Terror is now more justified, etc.
However, as Hillary stated to some effect, this is neither a victory nor the end of the war against terror.
This we might consider is just one ongoing battle over a perceived right; that is, the right for ''good'' to prevail against ''evil.''
The big question is, just what is good and what is evil? Therein my friends lay the age-old problem; one man's meat is another man's poison. What is good for one is not necessarily good for another!
Regardless of what we might think, the demons of the past for those who lost their loved ones in New York may now be put to rest.
On that note, spare a thought for Gaddafi's dead son; in my opinion the worst is yet to come and it is only a matter of time before the shit really hits the fan. In fact, Libya is on a losing streak -- they have created jobs for undertakers but that is perhaps one of the few positives-- because even at the end of this protracted struggle foreign forces will have to establish sanctioned governance in the face of opposition.
In my unadvised opinion, give it a maximum of a year or two of ''Spring Uprising'' and the crazed fanatics will turn on the hands that feed them. They will smell the rats and realise that the move for liberation is all but too late. What we are seeing is not a liberation but an emasculation into more disorder --the pattern will be repeated as the problems are too great to solve by any magical formula. When they finally try to restore order after the overthrow of present governance the people will be all but decimated as the costs of these protests will be too great to transcide into a short-term peaceful reality.
On that note, it is reported that civil uprisings are on the increase across the USA so it is perhaps only a matter of time before the army will hit the streets there as well. Under constitutional amendments, I believe the army can take to the streets to quell civil uprisings. Hyperinflation is still forecast to hit hard so when it does ... anything might happen.

He, OBL, should have been tried in The Criminal War Courts. Not executed!
