Now that's a party house
« on: January 31, 2010, 10:12:02 am »

I could live in it...  ;D

A journalist is searching for the architects who built the piano house in Huainan.

She says,
"Unfortunatly web-sites in english don’t give this information. Please, can you help check chinese web-sites, maybe someone can find the web-site of the architects"

Let me know if someone can find out...

I asked a friend who is Chinese & an architect, not currently in China. Here's her reply:

right. i had a look on the web... i had to get the Chinese characters through Google translation as i can't type chinese on my computer.

i couldn't find the architect's name, it's not mentioned on any website. but appearantly it was desing by some housing developer in the province of Anhui (安徽省淮南市新城区) and its located in a newly developed area in which the local authority was gonna develop some pilot planning scheme.

however i wouldnt be surprised if the architects name wasnt mentioned at all.
its kind of traditional and common that the individuals names are sometimes not to be mentioned when there is a large group involved.
