How come the KFC's here don't have the Chicken Bacon Bowl. The Chinese don't know what they're missing. Or do they...

well.lets discuss about "American cuisine's"

I am looking for south western food here? are there any places that offer these? I mean real traditional American foods,

and with an apple pie at the end of the meal

How many good west food providers in Hefei? It may be a business opportunity, you may consider to open a small one.

There is a massive market available for International and Regional foods.
The population of Hefei is becoming transient. By the time Hefei becomes it's planned size, the AnHui population ratio will be small. The clientele will be looking for healthier foods.

Just look at how many different food restaurants are opening now.

IMHO,

Hefei ren loved the sh%t out of what i was doing at Bit. Even the Shanghai transplants I would get on the weekends.

Burger, meat pie, and burritos.

"Chinese food is so oily".

But Pasta cabonara is creamy and delicious:

Cream; 40-48% fat

egg yolk; 100% fat

butter; 80% fat

Bacon 30-80% fat

Don't eat Chinese with a spoon. And let the oil drip off the chopstick.

I used to strain out my Chinese take out before I would eat it. Oil is nasty, but how many fat Chinese do you see in a week?

Is there anywhere you can get traditional Aussie food?

I'm thinking kanga bangers, lamingtons, mashed spuds, Anzac bikkies, bbq yabbies, damper, scones, pikelets, apricot chook, chow ming, spag bol, four'n'twenty, toasted sangas, bubble'n'squeak, googie eggs......a PAV!!!

Ahh, makes me think of home  ;D
:) why not cook it by yourself
