getting rid of stuff
« on: January 13, 2012, 01:48:14 am »

I'm going home in about a month and will probably need to leave a lot of stuff behind. Lots of clothes; also a quilt or two and a space heater (one of those oil-filled radiator style ones), rice cooker, maybe some books (English novels and advice-type books). I hate to just trash things, though, especially since a lot of that stuff is still quite nice. Does anyone know of places that take donations? Or would anyone like any of that stuff?
I suppose for the clothing you'll be wanting to know something about my sex and size before you decide if you can use it.  :-\ I'm a woman. I usually wear medium-size shirts and maybe size 6(?) skirts and dresses. I'm not sure how to describe my pants size--in the US it's a 9, but in China I don't remember--I think I've bought something like 80, but the pants I've bought here don't fit that well. Honestly, you probably won't want my pants anyway. My shoes are also 9 US and in China usually 39 or 40, but most of my shoes are pretty beat up, too.
It may take me a couple of weeks before I sort out what I'm keeping, but if you know of a place I could take stuff or if you think you could use something let me know.

Okay. I'll still be using them until February 11th or so. Will you still be interested then?
