electricity prices
« on: March 24, 2011, 10:20:27 am »

Hello,

i just got my first electricity bill this month  :-\  . The landlord said i used 759 kilowatt-hours.  How much money is this supposed to be? Does someone out there has already made some experiences? How much is 1 kilowatt-hours  ???

Thx,

Rop

For a single in an apartment with normal use, expect to pay 200, in winter using aircon and heater, expect to double it.

Hi Rop,
just to add a little information for the record ;), the Per KW price is usually 0.56RMB in most apartments, but if the apartments are owned by say government workers (police officers, lawyers, etc) then its about 0.5RM per KW usage. for me, I live together with my wife (2 bedroom apt) and we pay around 150 give or take on normal days and up to double on winter and summers

Hope this helps
