Fettuccine Pasta Strips
« on: March 14, 2011, 01:47:35 am »

I was passing through RT Mart on QingXi Lu the other day, and saw some of the different pasta shells (spaghetti, rigatoni) that they had on offer.. But no fettuccine strips.  :(

Which, I guess, raises the question: is it feasibly possible to buy fettuccine strips in Hefei? If so, where, and how much? I don't recall Carrefour specifically selling them (like RT Mart, just rigatoni and pasta shells).

Any and all help would be appreciated.

Try different C4 stores, the one near your work on ChangJiang Lu used to have a great selection of cheese, wine and coffee when they opened but as is typical here, shops often don't restock what has been sold out.  ???

I've found stuff in the other stores that either haven't sold out yet or they have restocked.

Metro would be your best bet.

Ok I'll give it a whirl; had a hankering for some, but couldn't find it.

Metro is near the airport, right? I haven't been there

You could be cheeky and ask at the Perfectto Italian restaurant.
I'm sure they'll be happy to serve some. May even sell you some pasta.

Cheeky? At 2 metres tall? I'll just intimidate them into handing over their fettuccine sheets.. After being cheeky fails  :P
