I went to Stone & Wood once. The laoban was running promos, but here's the catch. The regular mixers I bought had virtually no alcohol in them. They were piss weak.
If you go, I recommend you watch them make your drink. Or better still, just go to Waike Bar, where you can get a real drink.

The thing that's funny, is that the places that water down drinks think people will not notice.  How stupid is that?  I remember in Canada when I was in my teens, a place near my home watering down drinks.  It was notorious for it.  People DO notice the difference, unless their taste sensations are fried beyond belief.

The only bar that's open during the day is Stone & Wood. I know Shipyard opens in the early afternoon as well. However, both places tend to be fairly dead until the evening.

Correct. Knights doesn't open until after 8PM.

You don't go to bars to watch EPL Sports bars don't exist here. If you wanna watch EPL go to a bar with WiFi and watch it on your laptop. That's really your only option.

Mr T, a foreign bar with great service and hospitality in Hefei.

Mr T, for Terry, is open.  A great little quiet bar. Not a busy place like most of the others but more like a local pub. Pool table, food, conversation, screen games and sport.
