I managed to find cat food at my local supermarket, but as yet I have been unable to find kitty litter... Any ideas?

RT Mart on the corner of Qing Xi Lu and He Zou Hua Lu for about 30rmb. They have 2 kinds, the usual grey looking stuff and also the crystals. It is down stairs at the bottom of the esculators.

They have all the other accessories for cats and dogs as well.
It's the only place I've found for kittylitter.

Carrefour and other places have cat food but no litter.

RT Mart is also the only place I can buy butter now.

I went to RT Mart and got the kitty litter. You were right - there was a decent selection of pet stuff. Four different kinds of kitty litter, and pretty cheap, too.

Just for reference: I also went to Metro today and they have one kind - the clay stuff. I prefer to do my shopping there so I'll be buying from Metro in future, but it's good to know that there's a selection in Hefei.

If you are in the HuPo area, and don't feel like going into a department store for litter, there is a small pet shop that might also carry litter.  And in the future, if any of you guys have a dog, what's good about them is that they have a live video feed to the washing area, so the people in the shop area can see what the heck they are doing to your dog.  For me, this would be a BIG time plus, because some of these pet shops, who knows what they do to your dogs while they are in the "back room".

I took a look around for a pet shop but couldn't find one. I'm still new to the area, and got lost pretty easily.
