Hi there,

What an awesome resource! I've been reading up on every thread it seems, and everyone is so helpful; I decided now is a good time to register! Thanks for all the great information and I wish only the best for this site and its contributors ^^

I have a question about blogging. I want to keep a travel blog, or stay connected to family/friends back home thru social networking, but I'd prefer to avoid VPN if I can. Any recommendations for some blog sites that work in China and America, preferably hosted in English? :D

Oh, and what about Gmail and Google+ ? Is VPN required to access these sites?
