Hey folks,

My Macbook Pro (brought from Australia) decided to let its hard drive effectively shit itself this morning, completely out of the blue.

My question is: where can a young sod like myself find a healing hand (or at least decent Mac techy) to fix my woeful Macbook Pro? Any advice will be a godsend.

Hey Joey,

There is an Apple Service Centre on Jinzhai Lu; they are pricey, but if its the complete unit that needs to be fixed, it may be the only viable option.

300RMB just to get it looked at, and I'm unsure how much more to get the DVD drive unit replaced.

I thought I still had the address of the place - it seems I misplaced it. Kaibo definitely knows it, so he can give you the specific address, but yes, there is an Apple Service outlet in Hefei, on JinZhai Lu.
