The time is soon approaching for the spring festival.... Any recommendations on where to go or what to see? Would rather spend money at my destination than getting there. Plus, I have to get out this cold weather. I appreciate any suggestions...Thanks!

Spend the money and fly or spend time in a nightmare of crowds at the train station.

My advice is jump on a plane to Thailand or KL in Malaysia if you want warmth. You can also escape to Philipines cheaply as well.

Hey honey, it is not cold yet. It is just cooling down at the moment.

Personally, I would prefer to NOT travel during the Spring Festival.  It is pure madness (from what I've heard).  I will, however, be ignoring my own travel advice and traveling to Xiamen and Xinxiang during the holiday.
