Just measuring Interest...

Just wondering if anyone is interested in a big get together? I have heard rumors of a thousand or two foreigners kicking around In Hefei but I have seen about 10 English teachers in one place and that is it. Apart from the odd phantom post on here.

Anyway, whining aside - How about just a big get together of all the Laowai kicking around this neck of the woods - whether its a bar at night a a big game of cricket or something in the day time - just bear in mind that its nearly summer and it could be to hot to breathe in six weeks time.

Anybody got any ideas? and if if this is a lame duck question then feel free to shoot it down in a flurry of feathers. I was thinking of something on a slightly more Grandios scale than five people having a beer in Revs - see how close to this rumored 1000 people can get interested, perhaps an evening weekend thing somewhere.

so post Boys and Girls - any ideas on Dates, Numbers, Can do's / wont comes, Venues or whatever.

Oooh, if there is any kind of get-together happening any time soon, please givvus details! My partner and I have just moved to Huainan, which isn't too far to travel for a cricket match/ get-together/ drinks! Especially given that there aren't any other foreigners in Huainana that we know of!
