Bakers Pizza

Ok, I have some BIG news for y'all. BIG.
First off, I just want to say that because my news is so BIG, Bakers Pizza MUST have their own thread. So, bam, new thread.
The news.....starting January 2nd, they will roll out their new menu, and let me tell you, I am REALLY impressed. They let me take a peek at what they have lined up, and wow, I am SO ready to dive right into it. From what I counted, it looks like they will roll out about 15 new items, give or take. And the website will be updated in the future after that, not sure when at the moment.
I thought I was finished with their menu, at least from the foods I like to eat, and out comes this. I have a lot more work to do, my friends.

After the last delivery I'm sad to say...
Where is my Pizza?
I ordered over an hour ago.
Rob, I think we may have created our own problem with getting deliveries, they may be too busy for us now!
It arrived but it's cold... Luckily, I quite like cold pizza...
Hope next times better though...

For the only delivery order I placed, they did it under an hour, but yes, maybe now that they are busier than before, things might have changed.
I remember the last time I was at Bakers Pizza waiting for my order to come up, some of the workers were kind of passing on delivery duties to the next available warm body. So, at the moment, I don't think they have an actual delivery setup, and delivery people designated. It would be nice to get that ironed out as quick as possible. And speaking about the time to receive food, for all the times I went there ordering food and having to wait X amount of time for it, the X has been too long for my taste. It seemed like close to 30 minutes for both times, which is not acceptable in my book.
Mike, as you said, I chalk this all up to their rapid growth in popularity and so on. It's too bad because the new foods that I saw on the menu, and their general setup, looks pretty darn good. I am not sure they anticipated this fast of a buildup of patrons, but because they have this dilemma, they really should work out the kinks before they grow even more. I told them about this website, and encouraged them to post on here when they have a chance. In doing so, I am hoping they read the posts and adjust things accordingly.

The new menu certainly has some great items.
I tried the Spicy Beef Rissoto which was delicious
My friend tried the Chicken and mushroom rissoto which was also excellent.
I'm hungry now so I guess I'll head off and have lunch there now...

For me, my goal is to try all the appetizers from their menu. I have done a pretty good job so far, and I am tackling a couple more when they arrive (just called in for delivery, even after a meal out with my wife). Later on, I will have a running list of all the foods I have tried from them, and my reviews for them.
It should be interesting.

It's difficult to get everything on the menu...
Twice I've not been able to try the lamb chops or mango puddings.

I'll add it to the original post as well, thanks for pointing it out.
Sorry to say, but expect an hour for your order.
We'll go talk with them and hopefully give them some suggestions for express delivery.
I have spent a lot of time in Pizza shops... Eating, working and owning.

Mike, I hate to say this, but in my eyes, the place has dropped down a notch. The last couple of pizzas I bought from them (both pepperoni) turned out to be not as great as what I experienced before. I am not sure what it is, but it's just not doing it like before. Also, the last time I ordered spaghetti, I feel it was a bit ketchupy (not a word), meaning they most likely played a bit with the recipe since the addition of the new foods. It's definately not an improvement from before's recipe.
The breadsticks I ordered, which is new to their menu, was below par. It was relatively hard, something like a croutons, which is totally not what I expected. From a large franchise in Canada called Little Ceasars, they make them on the soft side, which I think is what most pizzerias in the west make them as. Maybe here is different or whatever, but yeah, I wasn't impressed.
I am not sure how much longer I can endure this, but I will say, if they don't pick up the slack soon, I will take my stomach elsewhere.
The price doesn't justify the new flavours running through my mouth these past couple times. By the way, if anyone wants a review of a food from their menu, let me know. Most likely I have tried it already.
Oh, and last time I tried to order the new cheese filled chicken patty, it was unavailable.

Well, it must have been that day only or whatever, because I just polished off a supreme pizza, and two pasta dishes (not the 9RMB spaghetti that I said tasted ketchupy), and they were pretty good. The two pasta dishes were great actually, and the pizza was better than the last one I got from them.
Ok, my stomach and mind have eased with this last shipment of foods to my place. Onto the next couple pizzas I ordered.
