In general, I like Mc Donald's more than KFC (if I have to choose), although, I don't usually prefer eating in fast food chains like these two.
To be fair, here's my fast food culinary judgment for KFC and Mc Donald's:
When I'm in want of some hot drink other than coffee, I'd go and get myself a cup of milk from KFC. I prefer the milk from there not only because I like milk, but also because my other choice is the uber sweet hot choco from Mc D's. I find KFC's milk to be creamy enough, and the sweetness is just right. It makes me feel like I'm seven again, drinking milk before going to bed.
I also like the eggtart from KFC. It's milky and eggy with the perfect sweetness. The crust doesn't taste that plain either.
When my palate is craving for some hamburgers and my pocket's got a hole, I'd go to Mc D's and get myself a quarter-pounder hamburger meal. I like how the burger patty is done; its taste is good enough to satisfy my apetite. I also like the "fresh" cucumber (as opposed to pickled) and lettuce with the creamy melted cheese, which has just the right kick of spice (for me, although I found it rather strange at first, but I've come to like it now).
Back home, I like the potato fries from KFC better. However, they make them quite differently here. I like the potato fries from neither establishments being compared here.
I prefer Mc D's sundae (soft ice cream) over KFC's. Mc D's is much fluffier, sweeter, and fuller. I find KFC's a little watery than creamy.
Well, these are just based on my own taste and preference. I have no, whatsoever, intent to put either one up or down a pedestal.
