what's going on?

Hmmm... I will be in Hefei in about 12 hours and I'm not sure what else to do aside from business as usual.
Seems like this site isn't as active as it has been before. Are there even lesser expats in Hefei nowadays? Most people I know have left, but heard of some newbies. So, what's going on here? Ah... could it be that most are way too busy to bother dropping by here. Oh well, I'm just thinking out loud (oops, not quite, but y'know what I mean. lol).
Hasta luego, amigos!

mmmmmm, obviously a well organised person...... placing your notice a whole 12 hours before your visit?
If you gave people more notice that might even have been able to reply.

Hmmm... sorry about that. I know it's super abrupt to drop a query on what's good to do over there in just a few hours before I step foot on Hefei soil. But I actually was just being kind of general with my post asking about what's up in the little city of Hefei these days. Given that I had only roughly a day and a half there, my to do list, in fact, gave me little chance to meet up with all of my friends; more so, go to some event if there were any. I just dropped by hefeiexpat to see if there's anything I could do in case I end up with some dull time. But yeah, this site looks pretty "dormant".
Anyway... it seems I won't be back there for quite a while.
Hope this expat site livens up.

Alegna,
The only way I see this site livening up in the future is by having more expats in Hefei. I sometimes frequent "Shanghai Expat" and "The Beijinger", and see that they have plenty of users and posts. But I would expect that from those two places, considering there are a lot more expats there, compared to here.

^^ Well, yeah, you're right there... I just remember this site (or more precisely, the former one, which was "shut down", I guess) being more interactive than it is now.
It's probably also because expats from there know almost everyone that going to an online forum to inquire or discuss sth seems unnecessary.

Come to think about it, there were a couple users that "livened" up things from time to time. I forgot their users names, but they were quite colourful. I think they went back to their home countries. One user's name was "Clueless" I believe. Another was......I'm drawing a blank. Darn.

Yeah, there were some "regular" posters who kinda did. I don't remember them all, but I do remember Tim replying to almost every single post, which was kinda funny and ridiculous (no offense, Tim)
Dave (Aussie guy) also contributed quite frequently, but he's gone back home.
I guess, a lot of us already left Hefei, and it seems there are only a few new expats around.
Hmm... I thought Hefei is "booming" and developing to be one of those cities like Xiamen and Shenzhen, which would attract more foreign investors, thus more expats.
