I guess I might come out of the house for something interesting, something different from "pubbing" and so on.  Something at a coffee house is what I would do, if others are willing as well.

I play squash if you're interested...
As for Chinese beer, sorry, can't agree with you on that point (with the exception of the little brown bottle of Tsingtao - that's good)  Wink

Otherwise...I don't play squash but I can learn it of course.

Wendy,

I am from Canada, but have been here for ages (almost 7 years).  Married, no kids.  I exercise very little, which is something that has put on KGs throughout the time I have been here.  So, I might be coaxed into joining you, but you have to entice me with a burger or something that I can chase, something like a carrot in front of a mule's face.  Grin

Anyways, maybe something can be set up.  I always like table tennis.  Very little effort for me because of my long arms.  I usually just make people chase the ball from side to side.  Grin  It's interesting to see.   Tongue

I used to organise a lot of gatherings but due to the change in foreigners and lack of response at times, I stopped organising them.
I'm always happy to arrange them if people are interested.

I'd love to get back into squash, there are courts here that don't really get used.

Just let me know when you want to get together and what you want to do...
Ten Pin bowling and clubbing was always popular.

We have soccer, we can arrange cricket, etc.

Hi Chips

We can probably get some night games of cricket organised soon. We could do it maybe Thursday nights in Hupo near the artificial lake. Can you kick an AFL football cause we could do that at Xinhua park at night as well if we get 4-6 takers?

We will use the "Aussie Hater" as stumps and drive him arse first into the ground - that way the only thing he can fuck is the world. Okay that's great. I will chat with the guru gamesman and see if we can get this rolling just to run off a few calories. Kicking a footy around is great and we can borrow a rugby ball, a cricket set and an AFL ball. How about kicking off first at Xinhua Park on a Thursday evening? Maybe even this week if we can get enough takers - bring your friends, girls, kids whatever. We can kick the footy around  and I will get some info out to scout the Indians, Englishmen and even a Sth African and see if we can get night cricket rolling on a regular Thursday evening basis. I can get some Chinese coming if we want competitive teams.

hey AH, coming over to share a few beers later?
Bring some on your way... Leave them at the door if I don't answer.
