I hope it's open soon. Thw wife and I are hoping to be in Hefei in August. We are looking foreward to having a waterin' hole where I can order without having to depend on my wife to translate, she is looking forward to a place where she can act like an American again. She's a NBCNUSC (NAtive Born Chinese, Naturalized US Citizen) but she's more westernized than what you would expect.

Hi Mike,
How I wish I could join you! I am sure it will be a fantastic evening!
I am also a Chinese trade-mark designer. The name "Wai Ke" is a great Chinese name. Who named it?

The pedantics of Beauracrazy.
Looking like mid March for private functions and late March for open bar.

I'll treat that with the contempt it so richly deserves.

In reality though, when I first considered this venture...
I expected it to take 1 year and cost 500,000 rmb.
Keep in mind, this is sole foreign ownership in the PR of China, when I arrived this was not even possible.
With hindsight, It could have been done in 3-6 months and cost 250,000 rmb.
In reality it has taken 1 year and cost is still well below original expectations.
The trail has been blazed.
