NBA 2K23 is coming to consoles and PC this fall, and it will be the third game to get a "next-generation" NBA 2K version. Now in its third year, next-gen has largely become contemporary, with some platforms still receiving older versions of sports games. That's to be expected for older platforms like PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but what about the PC and Nintendo Switch? Here's what we know about those versions. Let's start with the Nintendo Switch version of NBA 2K23. While the platform will once again receive a version that simulates the basketball series, the Nintendo Switch version will not include the current generation of NBA 2K23 engines, but older ones. To be fair, NBA 2K23 looks a lot like NBA 2K22, at least according to pre-order descriptions.
