Good morning, dear forum users! A long time ago I read an article about gardening peopleplantcouncil.org (https://peopleplantcouncil.org) and I so wanted my own plot, where there would be both a garden and a vegetable garden. And now our family bought a garden plot four years ago. Getting to the car for 10 minutes, plant beds with pleasure! The kids, and we ourselves, have become less sick! And what a miracle to eat their cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots! We barbecue with pleasure, and soon we will build a sauna and we will be very happy! So, your grandmother is good, a vegetable garden is a must!

I don't think it's mandatory. It's true that you can buy everything in the store. If you have free time then you can plant a vegetable garden
