Mike,

You forgot to add one big huge expat site for Beijing, called The Beijinger, formerly "That's BJ".  You can see why they might have changed their site name.  ;D

www.thebeijinger.com

Is that the right link? Not working for me today...

I went through hundreds of sites to get these.
I'm likely to have missed a few hundred so any you know of that I haven't included, send them thanks.  ;)

That's odd.  I tried it as well and nada.  If you Google it, you will find that it is in fact a real site, but for some reason, it's down at the moment.

Odd, never been down before for me.  ???

Off the top of head, I can think of:

www.daveseslcafe.com <- Very well known website for english teaching jobs worldwide, has a section just for China.

www.elong.net, english.ctrip.com <- Plane tickets + hotel reservations in China, www.zuji.com.hk for HK. www.qunar.com for the chinese equivalent of Kayak, but no english version.

www.easyclicktravel.com <- The only website I've used that accepts Paypal (including non-US based accounts) for purchasing international plane tickets.

exploreshanghai.com <- Useful website for finding opening/closing times, journey time, ticket prices for the Shanghai metro. Also has for Beijing, Guangzhou, HK, Singapore, Taipei, Seoul

www.moneybookers.com <- Not exactly the most efficient way of sending money abroad, but very easy (all online) and fast enough, with plenty of paying/receiving options. Used here a few times for urgent payments.
Title: Interracial couples
Post by: Aussie Mike on July 21, 2014, 02:27:32 pm
Here is a new one by a local foreigner, Henry.
It's called AfroFamily.com (http://www.afrofamily.com) a forum website for Africans, Chinese and interracial couples.

It's new but worthy of your support.
