I'm pretty sure itis in GuoGou where MGM use to be.

Saw it last night. The lineup was huge. The restaurant packed. No more waiting tickets for the day. Had to go without. Will try again at a later date.
Anyway. It's located at GooCoo Plaza. Not the one on ChangJiang Zhong Lu. It has holiland and meet fresh near the main entrance and the actual restaurant is on level four.

Apparently it's in the new GuoGou Plaza in the International Finance Center Building on Meishan Rd 梅山路

Yeah. It's down the road from where GuoGou with MGM/Cosmic City is. Same company though. Sorry about my original post.
I've heard similar things about it being packed. Have no idea about the quality of the food or service though. I would think that it being packed would mean the food is at least decent?

The hanzi is GuoGou, like the other place, but the pinyin name is GooCoo. It's mostly eateries and a few coffeehouses. The robot restaurant is on top level and was packed.

I'm actually confused by this. Is GuoGou the same as GooCoo? Is it the same company? I've been told it is, but it seems a little strange. Any clarification on this?
Maybe GooCoo is the English name now?

The signage of the plaza says Goocoo. I thought it was strange so I asked my wife and she said that the Chinese characters are the same. The pinyin is Goocoo for one and GuoGou for the other. My wife doesn't know why.
I assume Goocoo is the business group who owns GuoGou and they probably wanted to differentiate between the two. But why change just the pinyin and leave the characters the same????
I'm confused too.

My wife said the exact same thing :D.
I was driving by a construction sight in Binhu and my wife says 'Oh! They're building a GuoGou!' I look at the sign and I say 'Uh, you mean GooCoo?' She says 'No, it's GuoGou' to which I said 'No, it's GooCoo' .... We both agreed to disagree.

But I think everyone can agree that GooCoo is a wak name for a shopping mall. ;D
