300 buses opened free WiFi network to browse Anhui APP News

So far, nine bus lines, 1 , 2 , 3, 21, 126, 129, 149 and 166, a total of 300 bus offers free WiFi Internet Services.

The 300 buses are equipped with high-speed mobile broadband on-board equipment. China Unicom , telecommunications, mobile users can open for the whole network . "WiFi using a 3G network , the Internet speed can be achieved within the Second Ring 42MB, in a bus , and can be accessed by 30 people at the same time."

First you need to download Hefei Bus WiFi client from the download center. " Download Hefei Bus Group portal. Currently it's only for Android 2.3 and above . This year in May , the Apple phone APP client will launch .

The service is limited to the news in the APP,  the Xin'an Evening News 's life , service portals.
Anhui network currently has a live Anhui, Local Picks, first scene and video interviews The service focuses on breaking the news , education , parenting , food, real estate, cars and other news and services.

I know on No. 1 you don't need to have the client. Maybe this was an error, but for the past few months you could go on many No. 1 busses and get WiFi without needing an app.

The WiFi is kind of slow, but it's better than nothing I guess...

This is really progressive news.
