Title: Apartment in Shushan District

Hi guys,

this is my first post on the board, so firstly, I would like to say "Hi" to everyone.  :)

OK, so I'm coming to Hefei sometime between 19-22 March. I was thinking about staying in a hotel  for a week or two at first, and  go apartment hunting on a spot.

I'm looking for a single bedroom apartment in Shushan District, 1000-1.500 RMB per month. Xinhua Residential Area would be great also, if I manage to afford it on aforementioned budget. If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it.

(So far I've been looking on ganji.com and 58.com, so I have an idea, albeit a vague one, on what to expect for that amount of money.)

the new apartments near Gouguo, behind the Grand Ocean in FeiXi Lu are quite good and the location is great.

Mike is right, my wife and I are living in the apartments behind Guogou, and they are quite nice however they will likely be a bit out of your price range. We looked at quite a lot of apartments in the buildings and they are all between 2600 and 3000. All of the ones we looked at were two bedrooms so a one bedroom may be a bit less. The location is amazing though. PM me us you would like to see the apartment and building.

   did u find any apartment in shushan district?? i was also looking for a small apartment in same area. any info u can provide will be extremely helpful...
