Title: Moving to Hefei

I'm moving to Hefei in March with a friend to teach English.  We won't have a car.  Will it be difficult to get around?  Is the public transit very good?  Or is the city very walkable?

Any advise would be appreciated.  I'm excited to move, but don't know much about the city.

Bus and taxi transport is not a problem except for certain change over times during the peak hours or when it's raining. I have a bicycle I use at times but tend to walk a lot.
