I was disappointed to see that our Bond will be censored.

Has anyone seen both versions? Are the changes significant?
I must admit that I find some of the censors' blushes odd. Prostitution in Macau(?)--perish the thought. But more seriously, why censor Bond, when any number of domestically produced gangster movies contain the same tropes.

That is a great movie on the big screen. I saw it twice in Australia.

In fairness to the government, time travel in movies has not been banned:

After all, 'Looper' was screened here last year. How the government feels about actual time travel, we have yet to hear. But I assume that there are no laws on the books yet, either for or against it.

I saw Looper in Aus as well.
An interesting movie but probably worth DVD viewing more than movie.
