Title: The "Fake" China
Post by: terryd on November 25, 2011, 04:02:35 am
One thing that I really love is how much fake stuff there is!  No one here can ever be trusted as far as what they wear because its definitely not real.  How ever when I go to England NO one knows!  So its GREAT!

I love the fact in Hefei there's even shops with fake stuff in!

No way would this ever happen in England!

Everything here is at a price it should be!

What has been your best "fake" buy?  Mine has to be UGG's for my niece back home.  She could not believe I had got her some "Real" UGG's !!  To this day she still doesn't know!   :P

My best fake buy was a 1937 Australian Crown. I knew it was fake when I picked i up, the seller wanted hundreds of yuan so I promptly explained all the reasons how I knew it was fake using my best body language.

Eventually he offered it to me for 20rmb to get rid off me as there were many people gathering to see what was going on. I bought it and it's now one of my favourite treasures. A real fake Australian Crown from China, that's worth 20 rmb, not many people have even seen a real one.
