Hello

I need to find house or appartment from HeFei.
Could anyone give me links to local rental services.
Other thing, is there, in HeFei, area where foreigners live or are you just spread around Hefei.
Any ideas what would be a suitable place to live.

We are family of 4 people. 2 baby boys and us
Is there any other expat families living in HeFei

well, i have several rental services links, but they are in chinese, so i guess it doesn't help .
where are u living now anyway , are u a new comer? I think if u work for the university or some companies , they surely will supply you the apartment, it's the way i see most of them do .But, if yu really needs to rent a house in hefei , i think hu'po will be a nice place to live, it's located in the center of the town and sorround with trees and lakes. And there are many rental agencies, all you need to do is to ask a chinese, accompany with you to discuss how much apyments fits your bill and show you the house and surrounding areas.

Thanks for the quick answer.
We are living now in Lu'an, some 75 km west from Hefei.
It is just too countyside this place, need to have some hmmmm... how would I say this, more western style of living.

I'll keep that information in my head when I'll visit next time in HeFei.

I know some foreign families here in hefei , all of them are working for universities, and they homeschooling their children, if you need to find a kindergarten or nursery , it will be a little hard , i need to say here in hefei as far as i know there is no internationl kidergarten, they use chinese to teach ,big challenge for foreign kids,hum? :)anyway , it's going to be a big decision you have to make.

Thank you for the help and support first of all.
My wife will take care of the kid's but the just need the company of other children and wife company of other mothers, women.
I thing that dessission to move from Lu'an to Hefei will be easy. Since Lu'an is just a village and we are used to live in bigger cities so Hefei would be a better choise.

I'll keep you offers in mind and give you a call before I make any dessions to rent a flat.
Any way, I think that place where family live's has a great infuence how we see the town.
