Yuexiu district is a good place for foreigners to go in Guangzhou. It is very convenient, traffic as well as accommodation. Centering around huanshizhonglu环市中路，there are exotic restaurants, pubs and bars. There are many hotels from five star hotels such as Garden Hotel to business hotel such as 7 days inn. Many foreigners choose this place when they come to Guangzhou, traveling, working or setting up business. As a result, people in that area can speak simple English. There is no problem for foreigners to work and live around that area. Under such circumstances, there are also lots of companies offering expatriate service. Foreigners find it difficult to learn Chinese. Chinese have multiple ways for express one thing. For example, the word foreigner in Chinese. The official calling is Wai Guo Ren. But in Cantonese, people more often refer to Gui Lao. And in mandarin, people tend to say Lao Wai. People find it offense at the very beginning. But as time goes by, these expressions are accepted.
