Title: Just arrived, how do I go about searching accomadation

Had a quick look on the internet, doesn't seem to have a website for these types of things, the school said they would help but I'm kinda want to get on it as well. Im looking for a 1 bedroom place, what can i expect to get with 2400-3000 RMB a month? Cheers guys

Accommodation is great here. Cheap compared with many cities but at the same time expensive for what Hefei is.
Expect to pay between 1500-3000 RMB for good apartments in good locations but there are some luxury apartments that go for more than 5000 per month.

I can have my assistant contact you and find exactly what you are looking for. They're doing some others now as well.

Cheers Mike, that would be great. I met you the other night I think in a bar? Yeah the apartment is for myself and my girlfriend, so we can pool both or our rent allowances together to get a nice place. Is Hefei the type of place you need locals help or are there property agencies that can help?

Everywhere including a Century 21 but English is a problem
and they only show the stock they have on their books.

My assistant searches the net first then talks to the agents,
finds a few selections then works from there. Rae is great,
often, the first apartment they see is the one they take.
If you have a problem later, she can sort it out for you as well.
