Hey everyone,

    Just got to Hefei yesterday. I am  a 23yr/male masters student from University of Nottingham in the UK, originally from the US. Im studying and staying at USTC for June and July. Looking for some people meet, get some insider info on the city, and have a couple drinks (no one seems to drink around here). Also, looking for a good place to watch the World Cup. Thanks!

1) Check Charlie's Bar at 5th Floor Holiday Inn (the one opposite Walking Street downtown), look for Rico.
2) Or Soho Bar at 3rd Floor Hilton Hotel.
