Title: Pita bread
Post by: rgeczi on August 01, 2008, 09:15:23 am
I just want to let everyone know that I just recently picked up some pita bread at a Joymarket store in Hu Po.  They give you 2 mid to large size pitas for 3 RMB.  They are located on the glass of where they sell the steamed bread, near the cash registers.  They were suckered to the glass, which I pryed off after seeing it was a pita bread, which is rare in Hefei, at least in my experience.  I haven't tasted it yet, so I can't give a review.  Just wanted y'all to know.

UPDATE:  After opening the outside packaging, I found that this is not a pita bread.  It kind of looks like one from the outside, but it has no pocket.  So anyways, if someone is looking for a bread that looks like pita bread, minus the pocket, then you can find it there.  haha
