Phallic symbols
« on: February 16, 2011, 06:55:12 am »

I was sent a text message one day from a cute student asking if I can teach her about phallic symbols...
Well you can imagine the thoughts twirling through my mind... rather than embarrass her or myself, I replied,
"What do you mean by phallic symbols?"  ???

Her reply was, "The sounds that different letters make..."

"Oh! you mean 'Phonic' symbols".  ;D

If it is cabbage then it would be boc-choy.
If it were storks, then why do all Chinese celebrate their birthdays at the new year? Sto9rks all fly south for the winter.
I guess that would be a reason why there are so many in Australia.
