Migration

Hello Miike
I need your advice due to my migration to Hefei, since my husband is going to work there and me and him are going to move. Are there any adequate areas or districts you propose to have a look at? Since I dont know the city pretty much, I need someone who knows the ropes there and maybe has some good insider-tips. How much would it cost me to rent an apartement or to afford a house in those areas?
Considering my mongolian passport, do i have to own a permission to work there? If yes, how should that function? My husband will work, therefore I want to be busy as well.
In fact, are there any other known inner-mongolian communities you know?
That would be everything for the time being..
Many thanks in advance for your help.
Kind regards, Tely

Migration to Hefei
In your situation, I have no clear idea...
However, as a spouse, you can get a tourist visa (L) for 3 months at a time.
In some cases, it's possible to get longer periods.
You are not allowed to work.
If your spoken English is good and you have a degree, there are many schools who can arrange a working visa for you.
Adequate areas or districts
Depending on where your husband works will restrict housing options.
There are some very nice housing estates all over Hefei if you want to pay for it.
A comfortable 2-3 bedroom apartment will cost anything from 1500 - 3000 RMB per month.
My assistant is very good a finding apartments now.
If you need more assistance or information, we're happy to help.
