Confirmed.
I went to HongKong and they issued me a Z visa.
I had an L visa.

I was surprised how easy it was.
However, they could not do it the same day.

I applied early in the morning and was able to collect it 10.00 the next day.

What did you have to present to them in order to get the Z visa?  Also, can you please put the name of the agency that you used, along with their contact information?

Thanks.

No agency

Most important I think is the Temporary Residency Certificate. (Blue form from the local Police Station)
Without this I think you are likely to have to go to your home country.

School Contract

Foreign Experts Department Letter of Invitation.

Another document in Chinese... I'll find out what it is.

Visa Application form.

I'll give a complete rundown later.

Arrived outside the Chinese Embassy at 8.20AM Tuesday.  12 people waiting to apply.
Doors opened at 9.00. 50 people waiting.

With Olympics etc., they couldn't process the same day, however, it was ready at 10.00AM Wednesday.
