Hello Forum,
Has anyone here ever been to the DPRK? Or does anyone know of someone who has been (and come back)? I would be interested in hearing the details of his/her trip. Did they go by land, sea or air? Was it easy to get a visa? What did they do and see there? And how much did it all cost?
I'm thinking of using my next holiday to make this tri[, since I do not know when I will next be in the neighborhood, but I have no idea of how to go about it. Any concrete suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
            L

About 18 months ago we had a US guy come through Hefei. He had been in the DPRK in a tour group. Not sure about the visa. He stated it was a truly controlled state with everything locked down. It might have been interesting but without any liberality I can't see any reason to want to got there as a tourist.

So I did finally find a travel agency that offers guided trip across the border to the DPRK. If anybody is ever interested in making such a trip, I can pass on the contact of the agency's representative.
