"The Insulting Nobel Peace Prize"

Obama -- "what a bummer" -- they awarded the Nobel. It was a nice try to fix the ailing US rankings after the Bush travesties of justice.

Mother Teresa -- reportedly a jet-setting socialite who was awarded the prize for spending the millions of dollars of donated and criminally laundered funds that never met the needs of the people that she reportedly served. While they starved and died, it is reported that she partied and flew private jets around the globe engaging donors for the cause. [www.michaelparenti.org]

The Dalai Lama -- was a clear CIA recruit and received large sums of money for his campaigns, similar to Mother Teresa. He still receives payments from various sources, Catholic included, for being a socialite dissident with political objectives.

Mr. Liu may have indeed assisted the students years ago but that was after all his job under duty of care. It is not to say they would have met with death though had he not assisted them.

However, I like to bring the issue of shit throwing at the current Chinese admin to this story and incident from the USA. How many times do international communities bring up one incident in a nation's history and at the same time excuse their own historical blunders.

Australia was guilty of the virtual genetic genocide of the ''stolen generation'' of little black native aborigines who were systematically removed by the so called ''churched" politicists, who maintained that the reduction and so called cross breeding of the blacks was a benefit for a modern white society. But then, hypocritically, within a small number of years Australia locked out the Sth Africans from the international sporting arena over apartheid.

Kent State Shootings -- 'the truth is out there' -- still a national secret in the US

...Nearly 1000 Ohio National Guardsmen occupied the campus, making it appear like a military war zone.
...Across the Commons at the burned-out ROTC building stood about 100 Ohio National Guardsmen carrying lethal M-1 military rifles.
...Many guardsmen fired into the air or the ground. However, a small portion fired directly into the crowd. Altogether between 61 and 67 shots were fired in a 13 second period.

...Four Kent State students died as a result of the firing by the Guard. The closest student was Jeffrey Miller, who was shot in the mouth ... a distance of approximately 270 feet from the Guard. Allison Krause was ... 330 feet from the Guardsmen and was shot in the left side of her body. William Schroeder was 390 feet from the Guard ... he was shot in the left side of his back. Sandra Scheuer was also about 390 feet from the Guard ... a bullet pierced the left front side of her neck.

It is important for every nation to fix their own backyard first.

The award of the Nobel Peace Prize is it appears beyond the sphere it was intended and has become a tool of political objectives. Liu was not awarded it for actions to save students but for a paper he contributed to which undermines the socialist reforms of a nation. He actively campaigned to influence the masses to oppose administration of a nation. He was imprisoned under clear national guidelines and laws.
