G'day! I'm coming to Hefei next week for 2 weeks. I have been once before and am looking to have more input into the activities I do during my time there. That's where I need your help. I have a few questions which I hope you can take the time to give information on. Thanks in advance.  Grin

... Where can we play badminton? We're staying in CBD so courts within walking distance appreciated. Smiley
... Is there a city library? Worth a visit?
... Any activities suitable for a 10 month old girl are appreciated.
... My fiance and I are going to stay in a Hotel for one or two nights (going to use the opportunity for family to babysit while we can)! Any suggestions on what hotels to stay at? Recommendations with really good quality food is appreciated (even if it's just a juicy steak)! Smiley
... Ice skating? An address would be appreciated (Chinese address is ok, my husband can read it). Smiley
... What's the weather like? What are people wearing? Last time we were there from mid-Feb to mid-March and it was beginning to warm up when we departed.

We've seen several things in Hefei and Huangshan. Are there anything's you can suggest that we may have missed? Any hidden gems? I find it difficult to find information on what to do in Hefei because of the language difference.

Thanks in advance.  Grin

Badminton is a popular game but I don' play so I can't tell you where.

There are 2 main libraries, Hefei on the moat on ShouChun Lu where QingXi Lu joins and AnHui library near the Novotel on WuHu Lu.

There are quite a few venues such as the aquarium and play parks.

Holiday Inn Downtown is close to the city and a great hotel. 6 MinQuang Lu, Walking distance to the Library.

Wait for winter. I don' know of any ice-rinks here.

Weather is starting to warm up and will be hot in short time. Spring only seems to last a few weeks before summer hits.
