There is a great little clothing shop in SanXiaoKou which stocks western brands in bigger sizes.
Levis and Lee Jeans for less than 100 rmb, shirts for around 60 and quality shoes for less than 300.
It doesn't have a huge range but what they have is quite good.

You can find it in the laneway parallel to Women's street off JinZhai Lu. 2 streets down from ChangJiang Lu.
For those who know the area, it's the lane with the water course down the centre.
As you enter the laneway, it is the first recessed shop about 5 doors down on the right hand side, opposite the Zippo shop.

The lady is very helpful but only speaks Chinese.

Thanks Mike for the info.

Don't forget, if I haven't mentioned "my clothing shop", it's located behind China Post.  The China Post that I am talking about is on Chang Jiang Road, close to Jin Zhai Road.  So, it pretty much is on the opposite side of Baker's Pizza, behind that China Post.  They house the clothes in two lower level apartments.  Man, if they can clothe me, you know they have large size clothes for the rest of y'all.  Grin Grin

Hey rgeczi,

Sounds like something I'll need to have a long hard look at, as I doubt any other clothing shops here in Hefei can fit a 2 metre tall man.

My work is along ChangJiangXiLu, roughly opposite the GuoGou Plaza - how far away should I be looking? I wound up virtually stranded near Beiyihuan Lu on Tuesday, so I'm working on getting my bearings back.  Grin

There are another two stores about 100 metres east of the An Nong Da (AnHui Agricultural Uni) south gate on Chang Jiang Xi Lu. They have some larger sizes in casual wear.

He is the King of map drawing, no doubt.  More times that I can remember, he mapped out various eateries and the like, with the precision you see here.

No one better.   Wink
