How many Expats are there living in Hefei?

Well, I don't know the exact number, but by you coming here, I can safely say that it will be +1 expat to the actual number.

Hi to all,

I just moved to Chao Hu from the US. I think I'm the only ex-pat here? Are there any other westerners in town?

Awhile back lived in Shenzhen and there was some type weekly get together for westerners going on. Is there anything like that in Hefei?

There are events from time to time at the big hotels.  They post them in these forums when something comes up.  Also, a guy on this site, Aussie Mike, organizes some sporting events, but I haven't seen him post anything in a while, so I am not sure if he is here this summer.  So, you pretty much are on your own.

Shenzhenboy, i guess there are asian expats there in chaohu.... are you the only expat in the school where you will be working? Even if there are get together here in hefei for expats i doubt if you will still have a time to join because 1. it's a couple of hours away.. 2. the buses is not 24 hrs unless you got a wheels!!! anyway, you can always get in touch in these site if there will be get together.....
