I am planning to send some Christmas cards to friends and have any of you done this before? I'm not really planning on shipping gifts or anything, just letters.

Cards and mail should get there in time but it's probably too late to send gifts.

So, eh, is there a mailbox for letters? I have some postcards from when I was in Dalian, and that city has postal boxes in many locations.

There are some but you'd better go to the post office.

I mailed my letters today. It was so much easier than I thought it would be. I didn't even need the envelopes I had brought, I just purchased 4 stamped envelopes. The cost was about 5 RMB per envelope. If anyone is looking for a post office, you can just google it to find them.
