advice, teaching in Hefei

I am currently considering the possibility of taking a teaching post in Hefei through English First.  Through this forum, and others like it, I have found several companies offering significantly better pay.  I have been lead to believe that English First is the premier provider of English schooling in China and wonder if these other companies are trying to compensate for sub par infrastructure or if EF has the ability to low bid due to their prominence? Regardless, I would be grateful for any information on teaching in Hefei or China in general.

It is a different city and certain cities have their own predetermined or assumed levels of remuneration.
I don't work with them but I have met or know of plenty who have and generally they are "run of the mill" kinds of places and are franchised.
I haven't heard any negative reports of EF Hefei but then the foreigners who have worked for them are the best advisors.
If you don't like the offer then negotiate or you have no one else to blame except yourself.
