I've contacted them multiple times but never got a response.

Edit: I've tried to get in contact with their HR department, and it's just been a brick wall. Tried QQ, WeChat, E-Mail. Nothing.

Check your messages, I've given you a direct number.
I'll pass the message on that you had difficulty contacting them through these numbers.

Don't they want enrolments? They'll have a hard time of it if they don't take admin seriously. Contact details on their literature and website must be valid, and enquiries through these channels must be answered promptly.

This school seems... unique...

http://www.qccsc.com.cn/index.php?s=/index/content/id/16/lan/E

Apparently the facilities are identical to those in Qingdao (typos and all!).

Just the lack of reliable information about the school makes me uneasy. I'm interested in finding out more, mostly because it's an enigma.

@Humdinger I think the issue is that the school doesn't have an HR department and just outsources it to a third party. That could explain the lack of communication.

Give them a fair go!

They are a foreign school which has only recently opened in China...
Lots of issues need to be sorted and resolved...

I visited the school for their opening... Impressive...

Fantastic pool, classes, gym, kitchen, dining hall, everything.

I'd be applying for a job there myself but I've retired from working for others', now I only do business.

Every teacher, parent and student I spoke to, have nothing but praise for it.

I'm sure it's a great school. The pictures on their Weibo look great and everyone is happy.

I'm just saying, that if they want to attract quality teachers in a place like Hefei, having a functioning website can go a long way to making that happen. The website is the first impression any employee or customer will see and it's severely lacking in many regards.

Simply the contact information for the principal would do wonders. Or, better yet, a reliable HR contact. Because, frankly, I would love a job there, but as it stands I have no way of knowing what positions are available, what are the minimum qualifications, and no way to find out. And this immediately puts me off. It's difficult enough finding a well-run school in Hefei without trying to track down people to ask about jobs.

That's part of the reason why I stay with my current employer in Hefei, because tracking down competing company HR departments is a nightmare and makes me wonder 'If it's such a pain in the ass to even enquire about open positions, how much support am I going to have as an employee?' It's basically just word of mouth for many jobs which stinks of unreliability and unprofessionalism. Even among the international high schools in Hefei where I work trying to find HR people at No. 1, No. 6, or No. 8 is a pain in the ass.

Like you said Mike, the school has some issues it needs to sort out. I wish it the best, and hope they prosper. More competition means better salaries and better opportunities in Hefei. But, I think I'll let them work out the kinks before I contemplate jumping ship.

Ghost was not selected for the position at the Canadian International school. They are looking for people who have several years teaching experience, in the same place
