Hi All, Im Mike from England - Ive been in Hefei a week. Im working in an office doing some English Customer Service and Sales work. I was planning on being here for about a year but that might go up!

I have about 5 words of badly pronounced Mandarin on me but Ive seen a little of the city and Im enjoying it - but until I found this forum I was wondering if I was the first westerner to find this place - I guess my exploring achievement was pronounced a little early. :-P

Anyway, If anybody wants to get in touch and catch me up on the what the crack is locally that would be great.

See you all around!

Hahaha!

We can start by seeing each other at Metro, please check separate thread. Me and my friend bikes towards Metro almost every weekends.

If you have the chance to visit Charlie's Bar at 5th floor Holiday Inn (the tall building opposite the Walking Street), then you can meet Rico. He is the big boss there.  Smiley You can enjoy sumptous dinner (eat-all-you-can) at the 29th floor rotating restaurant for RMB138 (i think  Huh) at first and enjoy a drink and music at Charlie's Bar afterwards.

Right Rico? I am advertising your bar here.  Wink

29th floor Restaurant

Old (as in Old) Pic of Charlies Bar, Rico is the one with necktie (should be because he is the big boss  Grin)
