Tim, as you can see from earlier posts, this thread is for pizza places in Hefei, not worldwide.

I think you may be talking about Roman Pizza House in Chang Jiang Lu near HanShan Lu.
Up stairs. I prefer Let's Enjoy Pizza in QinLao Xiang near BuXingJie... The European Pizza near AnDa (AnHui University) is now closed.
That was the best Pizza in town but closed before I went back the 2nd time.

if anyone has gone to walmart there are groceries there and when you go down the escalator
there you will see food of course but when you go this bar area i don't know what the name of it is as it is just for chinese/pizza take out
i do believe there is a restaurant there but i wasn't talking about that as when would you ever see a 8.9 for a slice of pizza anywhere in hefei?
anyways dairy queen is a good place to go to here in hefei
with in 5 years there will be 100 dunkin' donuts in shanghai and 10 more in other location's
with wendy's and other fast food places
has anyone gone to that roman pizza join on changjiang road? i usually go there my self well with friends and my wife

Read the posts man...
That's what we're talking about...
It's been the 2nd best place to go except for European Pizza which is now closed.
"Let's Enjoy Pizza", the name of the place, not an invitation, is the currently best place for Pizza.
We haven't tried the one opposite DouXiangLou Hotel yet so I can't give a review.

Sorry mate, but I heard some bad things about Let's Enjoy Pizza... from 2 sources... so I won't be visiting anytime soon.
bummer though
On another note, there will be a Papa John's opening on Chang Jiang Road in late summer.

Ben,
Please share what you heard. The only thing that can sway me is uncleanliness at it's worst in their prep area. Other than that, I pretty much had nothing but good things to say.
And Papa John's....oh, that is good news. Any idea where on Chang Jiang Road it will be? When I was in Canada a long time ago, there wasn't any Papa John's there, but, reading some threads on another expat site made me curious to try it the next time I visited Shanghai. But if they are coming here this summer, I will just wait it out.
Thanks Ben for the info.

It's been a while since I last posted something in this thread, reason being lack of pizza eating of late. Well, I was "back to work" tonight and dialed up
Jin Zun Pizza
which I posted about before (located on Jin Zhai Road).
I ordered a 12" meat pizza and 1 order of spaghetti. Spaghetti was decent, so I will order that again in the future. The pizza was good, less oily than before which was nice, but I do have to say that I am not in love with the bread. It's not that the bread was awful, it's just not done like what I am used to "back home". This might sound selfish or whatever, but it does influence my reviews. I would give the bread a 7/10. All in all, a good pizza. Price: Pizza around 70RMB and spaghetti around 18RMB.
I do have some possibly sad news to post. I tried calling Pizza Amici the past week or so, and their phone seems to be "out of service". I haven't went to Carrefour to check yet, maybe because I am afraid to, but I think they closed down. Someone probably has to check it out for me to confirm because man, that place gave me some great memories. Something like HJ Coffee did a while back (god I miss that place).
So in closing, felt great because of the pizza I ate, but down because of my beloved Amici possibly calling it quits.

Have visited Let's Enjoy Pizza twice in the past week.
Really good pizza, and a nice clean restaurant.
The largest pizza is just too small though

Regarding Let's Enjoy Pizza's pizza sizes, I do agree but being here in China for quite some time now, it seems to be the norm. But from what I have noticed, the more pizza shops open, the larger the pizza sizes get, meaning more and more are serving 12" pizzas.
I do miss a very large sizes back home (Canada), which I believe were 18"+, but 12" will do for now. And I am still waiting for Papa John's to open up this summer. They for sure will have the 12" option. And I do believe they also will be bringing something new to Hefei, at least to my knowledge, is the panzerotti (sp?). Oh man I am watering up.

Wow Sandy. You are my new best friend on here.
As you saw in my previous posts, I enjoy your pizza, and when I spoke with your boss (woman), she was very kind and helpful. But I do wish your shop made bigger sized pizzas, as one member on here mentioned before. At least a 12" size. Also, if you want to really help the shop, and get more business, why not offer the members on here some discounts on pizza, as well as post your menu on here in English so people can easy see what you have there.
For the menu, you can put a number next to it, for example, 9" meat pizza with whatever toppings you have, with a "1" in the front, so when people order, even if their Chinese is not great, they can at least say "yi ge yi".
1. 9" Meat pizza (Sausages, pepperoni, ham, etc.)
2. 9" Vegetable pizza (green peppers, onions, etc.)
And so on.
If your shop does that for us here, I am sure more people will know about it and frequent it.

rgeczi, you can become a good friend is my honor to ah!
Thank you to the recommended. We are not a woman shop owner. What you said is just an ordinary lady staff. Our boss is a man,the shop is also the chef.
I will provide you with the views of the owner told me,and will tell the boss to write a reply let everyone know.
Forgot to tell you I am a Chinese so my English is not good.If I say you can not understand, please do not mind.
My part-time is Friday to Sunday. If you go this time tell me what could be ahead of schedule. If you want to can also be scheduled in advance to tell me.No one in the Pizza house was fluent in English. For you tastes can not be completely aware of.You may at any time Monday through Thursday, send text messages using a mobile phone to me tell me what you want to eat pizza tastes. The scope of the required I can also provide delivery service and,of course,we also have a certain amount of delivery costs.
I am a typical person in Hefei.Hefei is a city still developing.I hope more foreign friends come to enjoy in Hefei in Hefei of life and services. In Hefei comparison of English proficiency is not a lot of people.Because the issue of language there is no way we understand it better communication so that people living in Hefei foreign friends there is no way to know better the true characteristics of Hefei.Hope that we can be more into the real life of people in Hefei, you will find more things more than just delicious Pizza.
Monday to Thursday, you have any questions can be send text messages to tell me,I will reply with SMS for you. I am very happy to help.I hope that you will live in Hefei, the more enjoyable.

Sandy,
Thanks for your reply. About the owner, I wasn't talking about a part-time worker there. I was talking about the wife, of a husband and wife team. She is the "laopo" to the boss I guess, but because they are married, I think we can call them both bosses, am I right? And I know their son makes pizzas there as well. I met him before.
