Seeking small Chinese non-profit organisations

Project 008 is a new Irish based Not-for-profit (NFP) initiative linking businesses with small community and social NFP organisations worldwide. We send expert business professionals for consultancies with small not for profit organisations in the areas of financial management, fundraising, management, HR, organisational development etc. There is no cost to the local organisation.

We are looking to contact community and social NFPs in China for our upcoming pilot program. We are aiming to support organisations that are developing and in need of support. The kind you cannot easily find by ways of a google search.

If you know of any organisations that may benefit from support and advice in these areas, please put us in touch.

It is great to have your contact here. I am a West Australian & have been in China for more than 6 years. I worked in an NGO in Perth called Broken Chains Ministry for quite some time.

I have done some research into NGOs in China & some of my clients & associates have worked in & currently work in association with one such organization. The legalities of NGOs up here are something that, through research, I have some vital knowledge of. Perhaps I am your point of contact, as this is right up my alley. I also am an individual with a social conscience, an ideas man & a visionary. My network here includes a vast array of talented, informed & connected people in diverse fields such as state level law, financial management at SOE, university level administrators & education professionals, public servants at municipal & state level, CPC contacts etc.

There are several programs I am aware of in central eastern China. Some contacts are not currently active, but renewed acquaintance is always possible.There is also an exciting new project that could be established with dialysis through the vision of a talented & wonderful high school student who has a vision to assist young people. There are also some orphanages I am aware of as well & agricultural NGOs that could also serve as a means to become involved. Another project that is in dire need of establishment is one that could be initiated through the local Anhui Agricultural College. Hefei is the perfect base to establish a venture as it has great potential & is centrally located.

Hi Kim, I've been in contact with Kate discussing a few things already.
Looks interesting, a project good for China, they are in the initial stages now but should develop quickly.
